Recently I received word from a friend that their grandfather had passed away. They told me that they were filled with gratitude for the knowledge they had of the Plan of Salvation. Because of Jesus Christ's Atonement everyone will be resurrected and if we live righteously we'll be able to be with our families after death. There is a scripture in the Book of Mormon that brings me great comfort in dealing with loved ones who pass away. Alma 7:12 says, "And he will take upon him death, that he may loose the bands of death which bind his people; and he will take upon him their infirmities, that his bowels may be filled with mercy, according to the flesh, that he may know according to the flesh how to succor his people according to their infirmities." What a blessing it is to know of Jesus Christ and celebrate His resurrection this Easter Season.
